Terms and Conditions

BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

BOOKING: For all portrait sessions; non-refundable session retainer is required to book & hold the date for your session & also serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session. 

For wedding packages, a 15% retainer is due immediately to book & hold the date of your event & also serves as a cancellation fee. Half the balance is due the beginning of the month of the event & the remainder at the day of the event. You can also break this up into multiple payments if that's how you see fits. 

PAYMENT: All session & packages can be paid via cash, check, Visa, Mastercard. If a client pays by check, the check must clear & any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees. The remainder at this time must be paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY: For portrait sessions, client forfeits their session retainer paid to book the session. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 72 hours prior to the date of session & re-booking at an agreeable date & time.

For weddings & events, if any reason the client cancels before the wedding date, the photographer will keep the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in sent in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, I will do my best to accommodate the change & no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available within 5 months of the original event date. If I am not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled & subject to the cancellation policy. 

If The Hype Girl Lifestyle cannot perform this Contract due to fire, or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer's illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client but shall haven o further liability with respect to the contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.
